As I'm sure you know, we have American Idol and other less popular shows over here, and Sting is right about the whole genre. I agree he can be a pompous ass, but he's exactly right here. Real stars don't come from these shows. In fact, some of the greatest artists I could name never would have made it on one of these shows.
